Went to a bad ***, true no prep (surface has only ever seen water burn outs) streetcar shootout at an airport yesterday. The event had a ~40 mile cruise to qualify and you had to race on the same tires that you cruised with.

Ended up getting first overall with the WhiteWhale ®.

Cool LS piston trophy and $600. ($25 usd...haha)

Note: baby blower/cubes does ok sometimes.

Thanks!

Took me a bit to figure out the launch on this tricky surface but I had my junk pretty dialed in for the finals.

Good thing it was a 1/4 event and not 1/8. I came around on the big end on every race.

Thanks NDub!

Red slips are pretty good but browns would be better.

SLB Whipple LT1 running pretty solid. Pretty much full weight minus rear seat delete and poverty stars. DA 3600+. For reference a stock 6g ran 12.7 @ 109 the same day.

You can duplicate that H/C though too correct?

LOL! Agreed - poor Canucks!

Had an interesting weekend with a friend who owns a ZL1 1LE and C7 ZR1 ZTK A8...

Got to experience driving the ZLE for the first time (had a ride before, but never behind the wheel). Have a whole new level of respect for that car - and it's definitely a road course weapon. It isn't too stiff for it's intended purpose by any means, and the owner would actually like it stiffer, even for street use. Anyway, I like the gearing in that car, can pull hard even in 6th. Handling is razor sharp, feedback is beyond what 99% of anyone would probably want, but I loved it - communicated everything what was going on with the chassis. Big **** FTW.

ZR1 is another level altogether. While I would have preferred to compare the M7 to the ZLE, his wife drives the ZL1 more, and she wanted the auto only. Very fast car for bone stock, chassis refinement is definitely better than an C7 Z06 I've been in. Quilted carbon roof top is a cool touch. I like it, I want it, just with another pedal.

Sure...If you want a setup that shakes rattles rolls bucks and surges with a converter that slips to 3000 rpm to get moving. Or you can have a car that drives like stock running 10-11psi with the stock converter. Aside from that I doubt a heads/cam car at the same race weight will trap the same.

Thanks Jay!

Lots of fast stuff at this event.

Ex: 1200+whp supra, c6zr1 with TT, FBO c6zr1 , c6z with F1A-94 procharger, blower swap track hawk with pulleys, TT jeep on Q16, numerous GTRs and LS terbo stuff.

The AWD stuff had the advantage on the launch, but I had the MPH to come around them.

Yes and it's made of polymer. Lasts longer and is washable.

I like it. I actually prefer my surefire x300u on my duty gun. It’s 1000 lumens and a little smaller/lighter

i still love the TLR-1 however

Ill have to check out the surefire. I don't think ill ever get rid of the streamlight though - we decided to do some "torture testing" when I bought a new Gen4 G19 and a Colt Defender (back when I was living in CT). Went out when it was about -40deg one night with the Streamlight on the Glock. Ran flawlessly until I got back to the house and went from -40deg to 70deg. The streamlight fogged up and stopped working, I just opened it up, let it sit (condensation inside) and it came right back on the next day. That was probably 8 years ago and have never had an issue with it since.

Go for it. You gonna need a power adder. You can't do it with a pump gas bolt on dd car. And since you seem to want to do it something comparable that's what it takes.q

Hopefully you look at king's link and stop saying stupid ****. Won't happen but there's always hope. Kinda like you making any passes at all.....always hope.

You likely have holes in your keyboard so you can stick your little wewe through it to jack it off to gay ****.

Yup.....because i already avoid going into zoobitch's threads. I have for a while. He's just a common pos and his followers are right there with him in the stupid **** they say and back his dumbass up on.

Holesaws work.....amazing how people are either lazy, stupid or both and cry about it. It's basic hotrodding 101. The funny part is people actually concentrate on the holes......which do little for weight in the grand scheme of things.

There are different grades of race brakes. The typical fast 5br0s run single disc stuff that's not suited for street duty. Some even run wave brakes.

Basically ultra is running 4gen brakes.
