I'm a mad mother ****** right now. Just stumbled into an LS1 mechanics trap. Changing the pilot bearing on my Impala SS LS1 swap, used the bread method like I always do. Whack, whack, whack, bolt goes in way too far....What the ****?!? Did I just break the end of the crank? Google fu later, oh yeah, some ******* at GM put a freeze plug back there, and you just knocked it through. So 4 hours and a broken pilot bearing puller later, I cut my way through the frozen pilot bearing, took the oil pan off, got the freeze plug and all of my paper out. What does that freeze plug do? Not a ******* thing, that could have been solid and nothing would have changed.

So yeah, now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

that car dont have a converter, cj intake either. Only rear seats and passenger pulled. And looks like fully loaded 5.0 so its heavy. Plus bigger driver.

yeah.. he did have a passenger seat though. Someone ended up going inside and sat there recording. I will tell you what though...****. Even if all the seats were removed including drivers seat it still weighs 5 tons more than Dugless’ tin can. Hes gonna reply now saying how we’re bitches and we need a special magical 10 speed “power adder” to run 10s LOL

It's funny.....because every 5br0 I've ever seen could do 10s with a tune and tire.....except for the many that owned them in here.

Newer Fords or Chevys are way heavier than your tin can hole punched piece of **** and are running 10s n/a. Dont get me started on Dodges weight. At least they can still pull at 4k+ lbs. Go put another passenger in your tin can and run it down the 1/4 with a legit timer. No....if i woulda been trying i would have put it on a fuel, gutted it to a actual tin can like all the 5br0s that even get near a 11.0, put drag brakes on it, a slick, 2 step.......and then set back and listen to your bitch *** cry harder.

3000lbs isnt that light for an Fbody. My 02 auto SS t-top car weighed 33XX. My 99 should be right around 3000lbs once im completely done with it.
