Serious question. Do you go around whining to all these tractor trailer and motorcycle guys about not having syncros?
Damn just the airbags and synchros thing really ate you up like a flesh eating disease, huh? Guess we know where the real sore spot is

Base curb for 1ss auto in 2010 was like 39xx. So if it’s loaded it’s probably in the 4000 lb range with a full tank. If he’s running it low on fuel and he’s around 200 he probably 41-4200 race weight he not far off

im 240 and I’m guessing my race weight could dip just below 3500 this year with 1/8 tank. I’d like to fill my car up with fuel weigh it no driver and see how much weight I’ve lost all together in race trim. It’s supposed to be like 3700 flat for an auto full tank bone stock no driver. They like 15 lbs heavier than manual. Guessing around 350 lbs. I’ve dropped. Kinda crazy

Have you looked into the aerospace pro street brakes Mac ? They will save you 70-80 lbs with half of that rotating. Will get you a tenth minimum. If you dont road course you will have no regrets I don’t even notice them braking is very good. They are a good compromise and not quite as hardcore as other options. A bit expensive for the small gain but something to consider

Thanks. I’ve always liked the new gto. Nice all around car. Look a little bit like a Grand Prix but no big deal. They can look very good in their own right

get to the track it won’t bite I promise lol

I daily mine too. The brakes work perfect. Full braking power. They just won’t handle repeated hard stops like on a road course. I literally notice no difference. And it’s an easily reversible mod. I highly recommend it. They actually look really good too

Yah I have the gforce anti wheel hop axles. Those and drag bags have really helped rid the car of hop. Lol I plan to I need to get a real tire for it right now I just have nto5rs on the stock 17s really need to invest in a drag pack.

They weigh 38xx. Not over 4k. It should have lost some weight with mods......and especially the drag pak.
