Default Killed an 01 Cobra...

Yeah I know, it's not as fast as me, but he had stickers on the car and stuff. It looked real nice. It was a Black vert. Saw him in town and revved on him. He revved back so I chased him down, had him rev it up, asked if he wanted to go. He did so he followed me to the interstate, it took us a while to get out of traffic, but when we finally did, I was in second, took off at about 3500RPM, maybe more, can't really remember. I tore him up with his girl in the car, but he was cool, although when the race was over, he flew past me and went weaving through traffic, guess he didnt like me whooping his butt even if I did miss 4th gear yes, I did! I missed that stupid *** GEAR! Thats basically when the race ended. I have everything on video, but until I can get it on the computer its not gonna be posted Hopefully soon thought, tomorrow nights sign ups, Z28 and Mach 1, keep ya posted

EDIT: just so yall know, I know I had the advantage, but it was a kill story and a good race, EVEN THOUGH I MISSED 4TH! just thought I would share

Nice. Great kill. To bad for him though, didn't even know what hit him! Bet his girl was real impressed, lol. Probably played on his ego as well..."Damn, that girl just whipped my ***!" Way to go Demon.

Good kill I remember I killed a 2001 Cobra when my car was stock. The cobra was stock also but it moved damn good.

How in the hell can you miss 4th gear...or any gear for that matter.

That was the first time I have raced PASSED 3rd gear in the new car, all the other races were low end, I've run my car up a few times, ya know through the gears, I've never missed a gear, first time in this car. As to your question, DUDE, I have had the car for about 2 and a half weeks, haven't had much practice being that I don't get on open highway much, some of us do work and have a life other than just DRIVING.

I find it funny that you are making fun of me for missing fourth when there has been plenty posts with people missing fourth or any gear and you have said nothing. I don't appreciaite you singling me out.

I've never missed fourth before... kind of weird...The shift accidentally downshifted to second, but when I started to let out the clutch I noticed it was too high in revs so I pushed it back in and tried again, then i was fine, no big deal, and shouldn't make it into one either.

See you said nothing here, wonder why? It stayed up top for quite some time....

I agree 4th gear is probably the toughest one to miss .... But anything can happen when your all pumped up for a race.

Nice kill

Well...maybe because I've never read that post before.

I single everyone out. Here's an example:

Gray - You big dumb ****. Why don't you get that ******* junk GT of yours into the shop, pull the piece of 2v out and throw in a 4v Cobra motor with a built bottom end and a T-76? You know that pig weighs 4,250 lbs with your fat *** in it! It may need a T-88 just to haul your long *** around.

See. Feel better now?

Thanks dan...

I am too busy trying to get this 347 together, and doing rear axle, and body work on the older stang!

Too much money now to get the 4v cams, and heads and turbo and fuel work for the newer stang.
