Found it on youtube , was quite disappointed that the ZL1 could barely keep up with a basic bolt on 5.0 .

 

I really like that channel, got a bunch of cool cars and good quality vids. Bro did well.

 

Not sure what is surprising. Both low 120 trap cars with the ZL1 on 20’s and the 5.0 on a drag pack. Put the 5.0 back on stock wheels or the ZL1 on a drag pack and there will be steady pull every run despite the 5.0’s mods.

 

The 1LE only came in manual 6 speed

The 6th gen M6's biggest enemy is the atrocious gearing

Just like Camonly said put a 17" drag pack and it's a different beast

 

Giving a sc car excuses when it still makes more power vs the 10 speed bro. Saying give it a drag pack blah blah, is like saying give the bro a blower. Zl1 should have still walked it pretty hard as it has a huge tq advantage and still easily 70whp over the bro.

 

Stock tune ZL1's often close throttle and reduce torque through the curve. Soon as you put a Toon on them they wake up quite a bit. Toon and Flex sensor ( E70) they make 630's and trap 130+.

 

All the tm in a zl1...any gm car really.

it really goes both ways though, I beat a supercharged 5.0 3 times at the track with a n/a camaro. Both 6 speeds

 

Personally I respect the 18+ 5.0s I don't hate on them. You guys have to realize the 10 speed cars can go 11.80s bone stock on a stock tire. That's nothing to **** around with I've had them keep up with me on the street.

Defintitely not the same as a roll race. Any dip **** can take a fast car and make it slow at the drag strip. I see it all the time. A roll race is a better showing of the cars power capability.

All rolls do is exploit what gearing speed is best for. I mean **** it...you want to roll race then run till the car is at absolute top speeds.

did you trim anymore weight to your already tin can of a car? Thats the only way youll be decently fast.

 

My rear gears are 3.31 and I would beat anything you own, with me hitting it in my 1:1 trans gear to any gear setup you want on a roll.
