From the dig on a 2nd gear launch with BFG KDW2's from 0-100 and the Camaro won. Spun on the hit and lost traction again in 3rd but I was still able to run him down before getting out of it. He wanted to go from a roll while his son recorded but I passed on the opportunity. I can only imagine what this car would feel like with some drag radials but I'm gonna have to eat these up so I can invest in some.

Not making excuses but you have a pretty extensive build and the 350R is not much faster then a Gen 3 Coyote in a straight line, Its more of a corner carver. Either way good kill.

Thanks man. I had not intentions of racing otherwise traction control would have been off, I would've started in 1st and he damn sure wouldn't have stole the hit...LOL

He did however say "That car is bad ***" but IMO his was way nicer and it really made my day.

Good Kill. New stuff is fast but fbodies are light. Proper heads/cam f body should have no problem slapping around anything Ford has ever produced other than the new GT500. Would need a 416 LS3 for that.

From a drag racing standpoint the GT500 couldn't hang with a turbocharged 4.8 LS engine or even in NA form against the nasty LS stoker builds in terms of making horsepower. The engineers for GM designed an engine to offer big things in a little package.

Your way off lol. Some people don't want a 4.8 junkyard **** box, Turbo anything it'll be fast. I'd rather the GT500 w/ all the options and still run bottom 10's.

When it comes to making power I'm spot on as the GT500 is a supercharged 5.2L engine. A boosted 4.8 LS engine can make a 1000hp so that's what I'm getting at and of course the GT500 is a phenomenal car but GM has the answer with the Camaro ZL1 and C8.

I raced a GT350 last summer and honestly expected more from it. We went from like a 20-30 roll and I pulled a couple 2 or 3 buses on him to 100. Even gave him the hit. Hoping my new combo will have me handling new GT500's with ease. 600whp N/A and weight reduction shouldn't be an issue!
