Houston Raceway Park is scheduled to re-open on 01/15/22 with Friday night street racing returning and I'm looking forward to making the best of the time we have left at HRP formerly known as Royal Purple Raceway. After the NHRA Spring Nationals 2022 is held on April 22 through the 24th the NHRA will say farewell to its fans and I'll be there..
This is not by their doing of course and hell yes we should let our voices be heard regarding those responsible for ending an era on drag racing and racing events held in the Houston area. Expensive land over there now due to growth and development.
