Default Walked...a prelude!

Not really anything noteworthy, but my first kill in my 5.0.

Was coming home from boxing and a prelude (latest body style) pulled up to me at a light. I later saw he had a huge exhaust and an SiR tag on the back (?).

Anyway, I wasn't even racing until I heard him next to me and realized he was winding out his engine. I threw it into 2nd and put a few carlengths on him. God bless torque.

Thing was, I slowed down and the ****** went by me, stared straight ahead...didn't even look at me. I hate that ****...I don't mind if I'm walking a honda civic or getting spanked by a lamborghini, at least give the thumbs up when we're done, eh?

Haha, now that would have been a close race for me... well, maybe not, I probably would have lost, but come on man, a prelude? Haha, nice kill

Kevin, a last gen Prelude would kill you. I believe they're mid 15 second cars.

I am learning to do the machine work and what not as well!

Balancing cranks to 2 grams, cylinder honing, line honing, decking blocks, degreeing in the cams, assembling and tearing down motors, and etc... and also cleaning the shop and helping doing the installs of cars and strapping things down on the dyno... not to mention answering phones if the people in the front are gone...

that sums up what i do at the shop

you guys are haters :p. sure a 5.0 v8 rwd mustang would kill a 2.2 i4 fwd car but atleast give em props. with only 4 cylinders they still run high 14's stock. i got mine timed in at 12.9 with a rebuilt n/a motor
