I was actually just talking about factory block/head cars... Interesting to see what people can do with that stuff just like its interesting to see how far people have taken the SBE LS/LT cars..


AFAIK, no factory block/head LS or LT car has ever beat that, or gone 5's (but i could be wrong)..

 

No factory anything has gone 5s. By factory it needs to be unmodified.

Never scared or late on the tree. Pretty sure a supercharged or turbocharged LSX427 in a 4th Gen can put it on your azz! So perhaps a call out is in order once I fill mine.

Do you really think that's all the car has? It's true that it has never seen a 10 second pass and also true that it hasn't been lauched really hard. It's a 3800 pound car with me in It and no power adders. I gapped the rings for NOS and it;s never seen one of those either.

It's got new rubber and wheels and our soon to be permanently closed 1/4 mile track opens back up this September and I'd like to see a 10 sec. pass on motor. After that we'll have only Ennis, TX near me for any 1/4 mile drag racing.

 

My cars have been doing nothing more than sitting around collecting dust. I'm fixing to get back on the blue one as I'd really like to get it down the track this year.

Damn that sucks, Ennis is obviously the closet 1/4 track for me as well, but thats a shitty round trip for you.

 

No other choice if I want to race 1/4 mile. I'll be looking at getting a car hauler before that though.
