Wouldn't you want the lightest car you can get for a drag racing application? What's wrong with having a good power to weight ratio? All I hear is whaa whaa whaa..Sounds like someone being a cry baby if you ask me.
It may not even be that they don't believe that.......it's they don't want to believe me and that they really have no ******* clue. Any na furd that's remotely fast the car car is completely ******* destroyed.

A load sensor doesn’t “quantify torque.”
It measures force.
Torque is that force applied at a radius.
Which means… you still have to calculate it.
Even on a loading style dyno, you’re measuring load at the roller and converting it to torque based on drum radius. That’s literally a calculation.
So you just proved my point.
Again
There is no way to quantify torque without a calculation. You can measure inputs. You can’t skip the math.
And that still doesn’t answer the rest:
Define power.
Define torque.
Explain what a shift point calculator is actually calculating.
Or keep throwing out buzzwords and pretending that’s an answer.
