Nice friendly race...nice cars. I have to agree...I could have read "war and peace" between your shifts. I know anxiety kicks in when racing, the first shift almost sounded like it was missed, we've all done it. Everyone is a critic...including me.

havn't watched the video yet. at work.

maybe i'm not 100% up to date on my imports, but isn't 430rwhp a whole lot for a 350z to be pushing on stock internals? i assume she's running race gas, because wouldn't the compression of the 350z's engine be fairly boost unfriendly? i thought it was like 11:1 or something similarly high.

Yes I would think that 430rwhp is pushing it big time with that compression.

BTW great kill, nice video.

Theres a Brickyard 350 rolling around Charlotte thats making about 440 rwhp, its stock internals. Nissan motors will hold some power. The car in questions is Vortech, Nismo cams, lots of tuning. Dude has about $35k in mods. Its a gorgeous car, HREs, very sweet body kit, lowered, etc. Another shop here in Charlotte built the car, im kinda friends with the owner, he showed me around the car one day, took me for a quick ride. Very fast whip.

Very nice kill and cool vid. Your car must be tuned perfect for that kind of power from your mods. Very sweet.

Dont feel too bad... not everyone has the experience ripping gears. Just think of it this way...your trans/clutch will probably last much longer than the cars Ive driven

I'll leave out any shifting comments....

Is this a common thing for people to go race in Mexico? Do they have drag racing laws down there?
