Well my buddy called me up saying that his dad wanted to smoke me, seeing as how I smoked his son's Sti. He has a 2002 Vette that is bone stock so I figured why the hell not. We raced from a dig the first time and I put about 2 1/2 cars on him in the quarter. Then he started bitching about my "drag race" tires so he said 20 punch. Put 1 1/2 on him right off the bat and held it until 145 where he finally gave up on catching me. Shocked the hell out of him, and me for that matter, I thought I was toast. Says he is getting a blower now..... I will be owned then.

 

very suprised... I raced a vette yesterday on the Freeway (an 02 I later found out) that was bone stock. Went from a 65 mph roll, then a 75 mph roll. Both times he pulled about a car on me right away and didnt move from there. My mods are lid, catback, ORY, Pacesetters, 3" Magnaflow, !FRA, and bellows.. I put down 336.8/348 without a tune. Your car must have been a freak that night ;(. He underweighs you by about 300 lbs at least =p. Anywho, NICE KILLS! I can't wait to race an STI for myself. Evo VIII's aren't anything though.

Good Kill. i have been wanting to race a C5, i think i can win with my mods but im not sure what do u guys think? I not ready for Z06 yet though

 

I tried to get the only C-5 owner I know to race me in his bone stock C-5 I think it's a 2001. He wouldn't do it.

My car is totally stock except for what's in the sig.

 

You should take a C5 no prob (04-), but that flowmaster is killing you with the rest of your setup, change that and you will prob see a 10-15 HP increase, go with SLP or GMMG or Magnaflow for the muffler, I think those are about the best.

I remember my only race against a C5. It was an auto 98 with exhaust and a programmer. I raced him when I only had a lid. It was even to about 100 when I started to pull past. I made a post about it in this forum months and months ago when it happened.
