Just as I came up to the light, it goes red. I hang a right just before the traffic with the green gets going. I am now in the right lane with a harley who "timed" the light coming up strong in the left lane. He has his wife or I believe they say "old lady" on back, both hunkering down a little and I can hear his straight pipe exhaust blaring as they tear away from the rest of the pack of about ten harleys. I'm going about 30 now and decide I'm not gonna let these idiots pass me. I say idiots cause neither was wearing a helmet. They get about ten feet from my rear bumper when I nail it. Even though my tranny stayed in second, I stop their gaining and by the time it shifted to third they were about 50 feet back and I could still hear their loud-*** pipes. I let off at about 85 as my turn was coming up and look over and smile as they go cruising by and honk at me . Looked like a sportster.
I'm guessing the other riders probably hacked on him a little for getting beat so bad by a car when they got to where they were going.

I have ran two before in the bronco... one time on nitrous (when i had the dope on the truck) and lost... second time on motor with the top off with 4 people in the truck from the board.. (Alex Ws6, Optimus WS6, bad blu bird, and Onyx Z) with me...

the guy the second race was on like a 600cc cruiser and he must have weighed more then the bike itself

 

Do you feel better about yourself beeting a sportster probaly 1200 with 2 people on it. I would like to see you race a V-rod now if you beet that then i would be proud of that one. Cause there faster than **** for a harley.

 

V-Rod account for what % of total harleys out there?? I love picking on harleys when they are out rolling around.. usually they are better competition than most of the cars where I live. Good kill.

 

Theres a sportster around me that can supposubly beat 600 and 750 crotch rockets. and its a 883

 

Jesus Christ dude, I think he feels pretty good because he beat the Harley he beat and not one that he didn't. My Uncle's got a V-ROD so I know it would **** on my Camaro since I am slow. Most harleys out there are slow for a bike.

Yea thats it. I know my car is slow I can admitt that. Im going to school right now and I cant afford a car since im paying for that right now. Talk to me this spring though and then we can set up a race. After i get my bike. All im saying is he beat a harley wopty do. I've beat my dads Low Rider. And I have a Lumina.

 

Yeah, I know "it was just a harley". Nothing to start spraying champagne over and all but there are just so freakin' many around here and I get so freakin' tired of the typical loud-*** exhaust when they ride beside me. I'm just happy I put the boy in his place with him thinkin' he was going to come blasting by making my left ear blow out.
V-rod? More Porshe than Harley. I even more like it when I come across a group of Harleys at a light when I'm on my barely street-legal dirt bike. It's a rocket from zero to sixty.

harleys are fun to beat because they think they are fast when they are not. they mod their bikes to hell, new exhaust, bored out motors, and they still run 13's! good kill on the hd!

Ya ive race 3 of those pos harlys. They get so pissed when a car is blowing by it puts a smile on my face. By the way there is a v-rode that goes to the track i do with a good rider it still only goes like 12.8's or so in the quarter.

 

I love it when 1993 Chevy Lumina drivers talk **** and start flame wars.

 

Right after we race we can play a game of chicken too. That would be cool huh?
