I'd like to believe you, but I have about the same mods (LT's, ORY, Magnaflow, SLP lid, !FRA, Diablo. I got raped in the butt by a 911 Turbo, like I was standing still. I raced a Carrera4S and held up with him alright, but saw a 911 Turbo gettin on an on ramp in front of me, so I nailed it around the turn and did my little swing thing and he got on it once I straightened out and jus KILLED me like... I've never seen anything pull away this fast from me at WOT. Could have been modded too, but I think it was stock
If you held up with him, perhaps you are a better driver... but for sure car-car he would romp you

"The 911TT is faster in the 1/4, simply because it is not as easy to launch the GT3... The GT3 is FASTER than the turbo(911 turbo, not GT2) from a roll, when there are no real traction issues. The GT3 is CONSIDERABLY lighter than the AWD turbo car. Where is ta12sec to settle this... "
I must have missed this one sorry milla
The gt3 is 380/284 (porsche power ratings are alot like gms underrated) and spins from idle to 8200 in about 2 heart beats (the only car I have ever seen rev quicker is a carrera gt) Its 3rd gear pull makes a ls1s feel weak. Although I have never lined a gt3 up with a turbo I have driven both I feel the gt3 would take the turbo after it caght traction. I also feel that there is little chance you saw his *** end "sink" at x mph being that the stiff suspension with very limited travle wouldnt move enough to notice from another car at night at x mph, Chances are he hit a bump and you gunned it and he was just toying with you. Not calling you a liar because on the street anything is possible, but I feel a full bolt on ls1 would have to get real lucky to take a gt3.

I beleive that he could beat a GT3 and even from a roll it wouldn't take much to do, They are almost completly handling cars. Don't get me wrong they run good but I have never heard of one even being in the 12's at the strip. If a Turbo car (450hp) will trap at 120 how can a N/A car (380hp) only weigh about 300lbs less beat it? Never happen, especially with the AWD. I have witnessed the turbo cars goes 11.90's stock.

"If a Turbo car (450hp) will trap at 120 "
What turbos have 450 hp ? the 911 turbo has 415 hp, the x50 package has 444 hp the gt2 has 456 hp.
The gt3 weighs 3043 the the turbo 3388 the gt2 about 3200. so 350 lbs lighter and only down on 35 hp the gt3s odds look alot better.
Learn the facts before you start talking please.

Oh, and as for GT3's being "almost purely handling cars" ... I bet you would have some difficulty driving one effectively through the twisties... They understeer a lot, but with an excellent driver they are awesome...
The GT3 is pretty much a supercar... built for acceleration, top speed, handling, etc... Not "purely handling" ...
