stock ls1s will smoke them every time.....they way 5000+lbs, have 22" wheels, and can't launch worth a damn......i still want one.....somebody on here a while back was saying they had a weak rear end, but that's not true either, the rears are dana 60s.......i beat a quad cab srt10 pretty badly from 70-120.....the qcs are all automatics with 4.56 gears, i believe.....

So Dodge > Lightning > Syclone/Typhoon

For their day the Sy/Ty were faster than Vettes. However, once modded any
vehicle can be made faster than another and vice versa. But in factory trim
the dodge is the quickest and the current lightning is in 2nd and the Sy/Tys a
close third. But there is also an older Dodge truck a "Lil Red express" that
was quick too. But don't remeber its 1/4 mile times. By the way, I have owned
the Syclone and I currently have a 2004 Lightning. In stock trim my L runs a best
of 13.54 @101 the Syclone's best stock time was a 13.76 @96. Both run best
in cool weather. All of these trucks are bad *** and at least the Sy/Tys and the
lightning are easily modded to run low 12s and 11s.

Those SyTy numbers are off, in the 1/4 in stock form it goes SRT-10>SyTy>Lightning. The SRT-10's are about a tenth or 2 quicker. And if you're talkin about 0-60 and on the street it's hands down a Sy or Ty. But we do top out at 126 . I hit a 14.4 in 100 degree Az heat and a butt load of knock (over 16 at 10lbs of boost). I'm not stock anymore though so I can't retest.

They don't... He most likely raced a "Sport" model or someone playing with SRT-10 badges...

I agree with the original order... SRT/10, Lightning, Sy/Ty...

True the Sy/Ty can be quicker than a Lightning in the 1/4mile just look at the MPH... From a roll it would be all over for the GMC and generally speaking I see 90% of most street races take place from a roll.

*EDIT* Rather than erase my post I'll look the fool. Semms things changed for 05'...

but its my understanding they are going to release a qc ram srt-10 in the future...which is ge-hay!! why dont the make a viper sedan while their at it?

i love those trucks, but not that type of driver. nice job taking him.
