I think you will take him easily, I saw on a show were they installed a vortech, on a 03 GT stock was 235 rwhp and supercharged was 375. You should easily make 375 with a stroker.

i think you wont have anyproblems romping on that gt.....the other night, i raced a superchargered gt vlaiming 391 to the wheels.....i only have exhaust and im a conv......we took off around 60 or so on the highway. he pulld foward but just as quick i was kreepin gon him......we did a few times and i was constanlty kreeping on him...he was smart to cut it short every time before i pulled ahead though.....

We met at a light and went from the hole.....again, like every mustang around, he olled ahead by 1/2......but only until my third when again i was gaininng on him quick.......
basically, i dont think you'll have a problem but dont underestimate anything on the street....i've seen turbo civics tear up cobras all day long..........and camaros......then blow an engine due to a missed shift and to much noZ..heheheheheh!!! thats wat happens wen you mess with the juice....

I have 2 things to say..

1. Joe38GT (whatever), don't sit their and talk **** to me and other people w/ ls1's. Ur SOHC motor is ****, okay... The 03 cobra is different.. I used to own a mustang bro, i know them well...Their nothing compared to an ls1, their just more bang for the buck for new cars....U should know that if u own one...

2. Enisguy, why dont u take ur *** to mustangperformance.com sell ur fbod and be a little bitch... i say that because u sit their a talk **** after i was jokin about their conversation about downpipe or powerpipe, (whatever)...I thought it would be funny to say...

Very interesting thread. I love all the **** talking. Keep up the good work guys. To the original post. I think you would win against the blown GT. Let us know what happens. Try to get it on video if possible. That would be a good one.

I don't know what a 383 makes, relatively stock...

LS1fbod- Why is his SOHC motor ****? Because it would wipe the floor with you? WTF is wrong with some of you guys? You are making LS1tech look bad. I have heard of brand loyalty, but brand ignorance seems better fit for you and a couple of other toolbags posting in this thread... :cough: strokedMTI422 :cough:

The GT owner was exaggerating on the 391 rwhp based on what you experienced. You'd need a little more something to keep up with a GT at that level if its driven right. Your car against mine from a 60 mph roll... boy ... i'd be VERY impressed if we started together and you kept up, let alone walked me down .

As far as the original post, it would all depend on what bolt-ons the GT is running and how much boost. With 12+ psi, exhaust, and gears etc., the GT could win.

Actually that's what happens when you mess with a Civic. I don't mean to be rude or anything but if you were messing with a 391 horse stang with the mods in your sig I'm inclined to agree with 00GTBlown. You would have trouble pulling up top on a 391 horse supercharged 3600lb car. With the 383 on the other hand I would say that could go either way on the street. It would also depend on who had the better tuned setup. A poorly tuned 383 is worthless much like a poorly tuned supercharged stang. If your setup is "tuned" better then you have the advantage. That's very odd though to keep the stock cam and valvetrain when doing a stroker setup maybe that's just me.

The race will be taking place this Saturday, and u bet ur asses it will be recorded...I'm pretty confident in my LS1, he doesnt have any bolt-ons other then his SC...I think a flowmaster, but that's restrictive...Anyway I'll post it in multi-media, and here so look for it.

Good luck in the race, and if its supercharged only mustang then im with LS1. Oh remember with a 383 on the street make sure you hook up because thats the biggest benefit (torque).
