Nice runs...too bad I didnt get to go with you guys... It probably was the r1 he was getting...r1 is 1000cc (998), r6 is the 600cc version. Must be nice to whoop up on bikes

Definently an R1 if it is close to ZX12R in the power department. The R6 is a 600cc yamaha... the R1 is the 1000cc yamaha. A 750cc Gsx-R would walk an R6 very similarly to how an LS1 walks a Gt (stock for stock any how)

All this talk about R1's and ZX12R's, that ZX10R is one bad bitch! I would take that bike over any other rice rocket in a street race. More power and less weight than any other 1000cc bike, and way lighter than the 'busa or ZX12r. I test drove one in the summer and it scared the **** out of me from food I haven't even eaten yet! I used to ride a lot and even did a few track days with friends, and that 10R was the quickest stock bike I ever rode.

Regardless the 12R IS faster than the 10R straight line and twisties it does not have a challenger out there right now

The 12R uses the same frame as the 10R and has a 1200cc motor... It may way less but only because it gives up 200ccs of motor which in bike world means its getting its *** beat.

Awsome set-up you have there. Stroker+spray= .
Nice kill.

I am a lucky 1, i have a bolt-on SS A4 with spray and a R1 to ride!
I will say that the bike makes the SS seem slow.

Your car is truely a beast with those dyno numbers.

Any track times??

Yeah I do have track times but they in no way reflect the power output of the car because I was on street tires(not even drag radials) and I really suck as a driver so I have to keep them quiet lol at least until I get better, I only ran it NA at the track and was spinning halfway down the 1/4

LOL,i know the feeling. I don't get the best times at the track either.
Just for fun once i ran with street tires and a 100 shot,i am happy to say i pulled a 11.9 @115 with a 1.72 60ft. I was impressed with that anyway.

I have not been able to bring home a 10 second time slip with my car yet,and that is getting frustrating.

Good times or not, your set-up is spretty sweet.

Thanks man but lets just say that I would be envious of your time lol, I really do like the car but the strip really showed me how much farther I have to go to really compete, I have a good foundation but there is alot more for me to do to really be competitive at the track.

You can not be as bad as the Poor SOB that i watched(in horror) drive a brand new Z06 at the dragstrip. His best run was like a 14.?? @116 i think. With reaction times around 1.5 seconds! Light went green and he just did not move.

It was hard to witness such a thing, but i bet he would run the wheels off that thing on the highway. He just could not get the whole drag racing thing down.

Not everyone is a natural at drag racing,i realized that many years ago. Some people make it look soooo easy, but i found out the hard way it is not that easy squeezing every ounce of potential out of a car .

But,again, Nice kill on the bike and the other car.

.
Whew nice kill buddy. It's nice to see people who actually have the mods required to beat a bike telling the story, instead of the stock guys who are normally posting these threads.

Nicely done.

Hey another cool aspect to the story is the guy on the bike said when I was purging he actually smelled the nitrous lol. He said he had a bad feeling after he smelled it and thought he might lose. I purged the hell out of it cause it wasnt coming out like a thick cloud at first and while I was purging he was just a tad bit behind me. cool stuff lol
