You're cyring? I'm the poor bastard coughing it up monthly.

Y2kHawk05 - My ideal A/F is 11.8 across the board. 13.8 is on the verge of grenading.

how the hell did your payments get up that high???? damn, those payments sound like 04 z06 payments. my friend is paying 800 a month on a 04 z06, but then again those are 50k+ dollars.

What the hell was he thinking?

So the 315 Nittos are terrible in the cold? If so that sucks. There is about a 95% chance I am getting an '04 Torch Red Cobra tomorrow. It hinges on whether the dealship is going to work with me or try to screw me over. I drove it yesterday. It didn't feel like it pulled quite as hard as the SS but I figure that is because the torque comes in so early. Was your shifter really notchey feeling when you got yours Dan? I either have a lot of getting used to it or it is NOT smooth. A shifter will be my first purchase. Where did you say you got yours from?

Did you hear anything to indicate that the ratio was so far off. Pinging or anything.

next year i am going to be in the same boat you are in right now. i test drove a 03 sonic blue (favorite color on 03 cobras) cobra and a red z06. damn, i liked how the cobra feels, but man the z06 just rides nice and pulls like a ****. that light weight just gives you an edge over everything else out there. ill wait til next summer so i can pick up a 02 z06. i just dont dig the red color in a z06. i think yellow or black are the nicest colors.
hey 99ls1ss. why are u letting these people screw you over? have u looked anywhere else for a cobra? here in miami there are tons of those and this one that i drove was 25k dollars with 12k on it. you need to look out of state if you have to man.

I'm not going to let them screw me over. My point was that if they do then I won't buy the car there. The problem is that NO ONE around here has any Cobras. I have to drive an hour and a half to find another Cobra.

Well, he probably financed close to all of it, and he probably has a 3 or 4 year buy as opposed to a 5-year.

He might also have shitty awful credit

ding, ding, ding!!!

$700 / month is really no biggie to me.

The Artist formerly known as 99-LS1-SS ( ) - The stock shifter is the biggest pile of **** I've ever seen. I missed 3rd damned near every time. It sounded so bad I thought the tranny was going to fall out. Go with either a Steeda Triax or a Pro 5.0 shifter. MGW has a new shifter out, but I don't like the design.

Nittos are not sufficient in the cold. At my power level, they don't cut it on dry pavement unless I heat them up.

I was looking at one myself, too. There are about 30 around here for sale because of the poor weather about to ensue. I looked at a stock mineral grey 03 with 6000k for 26,500.

I feel your pain. The truck is $694 a month and the camaro is $360 a month. With insurance being $378. Man, I cant wait to get that truck gone and get my 25 year old renewal on the insurance.

Unit: Thanks! Every bit of info I can collect will help as I continue in the mods on my cars.

The Ford dealership and I have reached an agreement. I am supposed to go today after work and sign the papers on a Cobra. I am not going to get too optimisitic until I am driving the car home. I will post pics as soon as I get the car home.
