Stock Vs Stock...????

I've personally seen them run low-mid 13s @ 104 - 107 in stock form at our local track. Definitely a driver's race....
Its going to come down to a drivers race or a manufacturers error on the particular car. Say the head engineer was hung over as hell and let a motor slip by without being built fully to spec etc.
Vs. Mach 1 - close
Mustang GT (94-04) - rape

The reason the 03 cobra wasnt on, was becuase I thought they could beat a stock LS1.. and Im slowly working on my "future" mod list... since its winter ill have enough time to save up... probably just have headers,exhaust,ws6hood and lid before spring and the rest by late summer.... that way if i run into any "modded" cars on the list I wont think twice about racing them. Theres not to many fast cars in Iowa, so running mid to low 12s is good for me.
I would have to save the cobra and zo6 are sometimes a drivers race but more often not. Last time I was at the track I actually seen a few running 14's and a lot running mid 13's. I seen 1 in the high 12's. Also a z06 was running low 13's.
A c5 would definetly be a drivers race.
05 gt's are about as bad as the older models.
Just some info on some cars you left off.

If you look at their 1/4 mile list over at the registry, several are running 13.0 - 13.5 @ 104-106.9 stock. You also have to keep in mind, of those cars that are in the 10s, 11s, and 12,s, what did they run stock?? Because they have updated times, their stock times are no longer in the 1/4 mi registry. If you also look at the high 12sec Machs, a couple of those guys only have a two or three mods (intake, exhaust, or tires) and are running 12.7 - 12.9.
Heck, even a magazine ran one 13.2 @ 106.7 (we all know mag driver's aren't always the best). This article is about an Auto that ran 13.8 @ 101, but if you read the next to last paragraph on the first page, it reads "We recently tested a Mach 1 five-speed and ran a 13.2 at 106.7."

The GTO weighs quite a bit more then a F-body, so you should kill one pretty easily. Be careful of RX-7 and Supras because they can both put down massive power with a few small mods.

Oh yeah while we are on the subject of the 05 GTs.... what do u guys think of them... as in 05 vs LS1??? what are they rated at 300??? Dont think ill run into as many of them here than lets say Houston.
(Finally getting my GM WS6 hood... pretty damn happy, now i can start my WS6 conversion)
Mach1s don't trap as high as an LS1, but they have a ton of lowend. As far as I know, an LS1 would pull away from one froma roll, but I can't say for sure since I've never seen the two cars race on the highway before (don't know anybodyw ith a Mach1, but seen them run at E-town a million times).

This automatic-equipped car showed a slight power dip just after the 2-3 shift,
>>>>
2-3 shift?
3:55 gears?
I like my 2:73's, "one shift" 1-2 and low 13's @ 105 what's not to like?

Alot of the Mach drivers lie about being stock. There numbers just don't add up. The Mach1 that the Mag driver (Name eludes me but is supposed to be very, very good) was only .1 or .2 faster than the GTO. I believe the conditions and track were freaking awesome also. The Mach is great for the 1/8th but the LS-1 will pull after that.
