Default Got to run a lighting from 80 up

I was cruising down interstate 565 from hsv to decutar, I have cruise set at 80 and pass a black L he was running about 75 so I wake the wife up and tell her we may get to do a little racing to the way to my familys house for x-mas. About the time she says with what I see his headlights come up and start to pass me when I nail it and we run to over 120 by then I am about 2 to 2 1/2 trucks ahead. We do this the 2nd time same result so I think he is done looking at the tailgate he comes up next to me I am in the right lane now and hits it again with a car in front of me so I had to wait for him to get in the right lane b/f I could pass at which time I am pushinging him and let off and on the gas not to run over him. This time he is not coming up next to me till I turn off the hwy onto another road. Next time I bet he will remember what my petty tailgate looks like. My wife about fell out laughing at him and said how do you expect me to sleep with this **** going on. Not all Ls are fast and not all SS trucks are slow.

nice race, sounds like you had a blast. Nice win for ya!

what do you have in that thing besides the 6.0L?

I've seen some 10 and 11 second L's at the track.

Wow sweet SS, I havent seen any modded ones in my area. I like lightnings but arent they only rear-wheel drive? Ive been looking at some ss trucks because I love the way they look, especially with the factory 20's on them. Nice kill and if you have any pics of your ss definately post them up!

yeah i beat a lighting a couple weeks ago too, the dude saw me on the other side of the road and flipped a bitch at the light and came after me, so we went out to a spot and went from a dig, the mother ****** jumped on me and was in front by a half a car length (my launch sucked with a full car load =\) but he was no match for the top end of my ls1 like as soon as i shifted i just walked right by him it was hilarious, we pulled over and talked and he was like whats in that, i said um just an LS1! hahaha

I'm willing to bet you'd pull slowly on it. From what I hear they dont put the smack on Ls like you do.

Gotta love when the fast trucks come out to play lol

Those srt trucks look nice and with a v-10 I see them being almost unbeatable on a 80 up run at least with a r.c. maybe with a crew the wieght might help. If I were to run a L more than 120s he would have passed me b/c I was all I wanted to run too. The truck was really starting to shake when I let off.
