some people think the Del Sol is a mid-engine car, but really it is front. That big *** decklid's sole purpose is to hold the targa top

The CRX was so much better than the Del Sol.

The GSR is a B18C I think my ricer friends tell me all the time but I never remeber. Its a VTEC and it has decent power for a 4 banger. I was actuall thinking about buying and Integra GSR that had a full exhaust from the head back and intake. It was fast but not as fast as the stock A4 Camaros Ive driven.

Im sorry about me wanting to buy one just wanted it until I get money for a F-body and it would have to be a year round driver for me so it would be better than a RWD car.

I would say take his money.

If the Del sol is as stated.........no juice, no F/I, you should win. Your ride much be running a minimum of 12.9's.....and I doubt the Del Sol has that in it!

I saw one at the local track running 13's with 1.8 60's on STREET TIRES.

Know your **** before you post. You are attempting to bag on a car and you don't even know which wheels the engine drives.

How embarassing.
Are you kidding me? Apparently you are the one who has no clue what he's talkin' about. The Del Sol is front engined, FWD. All it is, is a two-seater Civic with a targa top. You're probably mistaking this for a Toyota MR2, which is mid-engine, RWD. But the Del Sol is absolutely NOT and never has been mid-engined OR RWD.

Nope. GSR is in fact b18C, but it is b18C1. Type-R is b18C5.
B18B is LS non v-tech 94-00 and
B18A is pre94 LS/RS/GS no v-tech.
Still nobody cares.

Yup, thank you. I could go own for days with these motors and Nismo 1.8's, 2.0's, and 2.4's. Nothing wrong with knowing a little about the enemy.

DON'T GET TOO COCKY because umm this is actually going to be a closer race than you all might think. Take it from first hand experience... a B18c1 in a Del Sol can do some damage. My buddy and i raced a Del Sol with a b18 in his 2000 A4 Z28 with lid and cut-out. The Del Sol beat us by about half a car and he had the same mods as the guy you are talking about claims. And i know for a fact that he wasn't sprayin or runnin F/I. If this guy's car is stripped and his motor is decently tuned, it's gonna be a close *** race....

race him off the line.... with ur stall and his fwd, ull win easily.

or if ur 100% sure he will go for money, get some nitrous and race for the cost of the kit or more.
no somewhat stock looking del sol(as in, not stipped to 2000 pounds with slicks) without FI can take a healthy fbody ls1 with 100 shot.
(especially off the line)
