I've already explained, GMMG does do a great job by allowing owners of there car to already have a pre-domewhat modified car, but it is only RARE not quite so powerful. Lid, catback, and suspension will not be enough to take on a Z06-but a driver can make the difference. However there is a 300+ lb difference, pluss better geared transmission, and much better aerodynamics for the Z06. So unless this was a 0-60/70/80 race which is JUNK to begin with, the Z06 would probably run right past him. Theres no reason to 
we are jsut trying to help you understand better even though it has a warrenty and is rare while being modified w/ lid and catback- does not make it phenominal nor does it make this car VERY powerful.
Well i actually no the blackbird owner , I seen a the video of the race to my amazement the dam black bird got a fender on the z06!!!..... but you can tell the guy in the z06 was a bad driver and looked like the tires' where pretty much gone.. they ran twice from a dead stop first time z06 pulled good 2nd time t/a got a fender on him !..

I wasn't thinking a Blackbird could take a Z06. Hell, I think it would be a more interesting run to see it against a C5, since that's a closer comparison. As with many threads, this one got

All things told, if I could have my way, I'd have a Firehawk over the Blackbird, but it's all moot when it comes up against a Z06.

I know what a Blackbird is, have known about them for years. Like stated above its basically a lid/catback car, which is what just about every LS1 on the road is now. Equal drivers and the Z06 walks it with no problem.
