2005 mustang GT
Coming back from hooters after eating 35 wings and me and my buddy see a new black gt(pulled up behind him at a light). he takes off but we catch another light. I give him the jump since i cant launch in this cold weather, granny shift into 2nd, then i quit at about 70. catch him again at another light, but this time i decide to stay in it. By the end of 1st i put 2 1/2 cars(and this was not launching hard) my friend turned around after i just shifted in to second and goes "I cannot believe he is that far behind." The car looked sharp, especially being black
but he fell back a lot faster than I would expect. tonight was a good night

edit: had can instead of cant

Nice run! I ran one about a month and a half ago out of a toll booth on the Garden State Parkway, put about 2-3 cars on him and was pullin', shut down about 110. I thought he would of kept up better but the car was nice looking. When I pulled off at the next rest area to get gas, he pulled off with me and asked what I had done to it, seemed a little suprised that all I had was he lid and air filter but we talked for a few minutes and he was cool. All in good fun.

personally if I get up to 100+ mph and have 6 cars on someone, I let off of the gas. I think the mustang did the same and you did almost the equivalent of a ricer flyby. Next time get on it sooner.
