Hey guys,

Im the owner of the 350z from the races last weekend.. MY dyno numbers are unknown at this time due to the fact that I just recently had this installed and awaiting my builders load based dyno for further tuning/numbers. Im thinking my hp number is around 450 ish to the wheels..... for now .

As for the reply about racing a turbocharged LS1, maybe next month. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve

As for the 300ZX and the GTI that were with me, the 300ZX makes over 500rwhp and the gti makes about 350frwp

By the way good race and nice car !

Nice looking Z. Except for the FMIC it looks pretty stealthy.

I'm looking forward to running across some of these TT 350Z's myself. It just might be fun.

My buddy has a LT1 intake exhaust and pulleys.. best ET to date was a 13.95 and that was me behind the wheel.. BTY: I'm such a newb w/ GM i dont know why i argue
Oh I see how it is. Because you have never been able to pull a 12 it's never happened by any other LS1 owners. Because your buddy with almost the same set up I had could only manage a 13.95 it's impossible somebody pull .08 seconds quicker.

I've decided your problem is both ignorance and arrogance.

I guess because your '98 with a different cam (stock) than the '01&'02's not dipping into the 12's makes it impossible? Jeeze wake up and smell what you are shovelling.

Either way... That is one nice Zcar.

I've never seen a stock LS1 SS or TA run a 12 anything stock......
STOCK meaning: NO DRs, slicks, gears, pulley, exhaust...........
I have seen a 2002 TA Ram Air run a 12 with slicks and a cut out

The range of LS1 Fbody times I have seen vary quite a bit from the horrid to the really impressive.

I've seen people loose traction and run 14.X. I've seen a majority of stockers around 13.2-6 with the rare 12.9X runs. Bear in mind my local track is at sea level and it's a new strip that is well prepared.

Every car made has it's factory freaks...

You all want some real world humbling, try going to a dyno event at a serious speed shop. If you ain't running a big turbo you aint nothing. viper, vette.. all go to the way of the turbo to keep up with the supras. s/c 03 cobra w/504 hp couldnt hang in the crowd either. I was there, some serious numbers with the big turbos... all the supras were in the 550-750 range.

Well try and swing by A&A Corvettes
LAST DYNO day
346 forged with ATI 12lbs= 667RWHP
425 with ATI 10LBS= 721RWHP just to name a few and both on 91 octane with cats
If you got the cash horsepower comes easy, regardless of turbo, supercharger, NOS or Cubic In.
A 504 HP Cobra is pretty cheap by comparison I'm sure!

Would love to have seen those cars run but up here in import hell they are few and far between. Imagine my dismay.

These two quotes came right after each other, I laughed so hard at the first one, and then laughed equally as hard at the second one. At one point, I swear I was going to vomit all over keyboard from laughing too hard.

98Raptor- LOL, how the hell is it different? 500whp is 500whp man, there's not some mystic quality that changes it. The only thing that I can pull from you saying that is that maybe you're referring to the longevity of a motor... or something?

TTT- Okay, so you're saying that there is no such thing as an 6-cylinder LS1, clarifying that the LS1 is an 8-cylinder, and then saying that you can smoke both the 6 and the 8? Besides that, the LS1 has run a best of 7.94@174 (and backed it up with a 7.96@175mph). Unless you're running 7.8s, I don't see how you can consider them slow.

Holy ****, this forum is getting polluted with more stupidity every day.

Have you ever looked at a dyno graph of a car that pulled 500rwhp NA and compared it to a dyno of a 500rwhp turbo or supercharged car?

It's all about power under the curve it not about peak hp unless you are a dyno queen.

How does that make 500whp different? 500whp is just a point on the graph, buddy. Peak horsepower is a different thing than power curve.
