LMFAO... I'm finding a lot of humor in this thread. I think its time for bed at 7:28 in the morning. I have an interview at 9 and can't sleep.

Just run him from a dig. What's the worst that can happen? At least you'll know where you stand. Show no fear.

this is how i come up with that, the guy who did my work has a 11.3 sec ls1 and we raced from a dig with my drag radials and his nittos i beat him off the line but he pulled on me and ended up beating me by just half a car.

Y2KforgedSS:
just curious what ls1 car you raced that ran 11.3's?

Thumbs down

Y2KForgedSS stop lying to these people!! Your car barely put down 400 rwhp not 441. I was there when Jason tuned it in Lubbock at TSP. As a matter of fact when did you get Nitrous, the Injectors, the intake, and the pulley's? I know you have a TSP 233 239 cam but when did you put the AFR Heads on? I believe they were Patriot 5.3 heads.

Man do you think no one from Amarillo reads your posts. I tell you what My car put down 417 rwhp. So any time you want to line them up just let me know.

The shop that did the work on your car knows how to get ahold of me.

Well I had a Sonic blue 03 Cobra. Mine had the kenne bell cold air intake kit, accufab throttle body, 2.93 lightning pulley, colder plugs, catback exaust and a full tune and ended up with 441rwhp and 462torq and ran 11.7's-11.8's at 118-120mph with a 2.2 60 foot and that was on a street tire. Bad things abouth them the shifter sucks and the clutch is one stiff ****. With a tire I could of got down to mid to low 11's but no way in hell the stock IRS can handle that. When they start getting into that range they have to switch to a solid axle.

Wrong.

A stock IRS can handle plenty more than you think. 10's are no problem.

I don't know, I guess depending on how the car is launched. My buddy blew the IRS to pieces after a couple of passes. Parts and Oil all over the track in Hattiesburg. The car was an 01 (I think) Cobra stock other than some 555R's. Kaboom!

Agreed! An IRS Brace and DSS Half-Shafts can take you into the 9's.

i think he means that the IRS can handle that but the motor is not stock. and yes the IRS can handle 10's easy expecially if u have a hard launch kit. i also know a guy that runs slicks on his IRS cobra and launches at 4grand plus and holds up
