damn unit can u give ANYTHING in here credit?.....im not a fan of Srt4's either but like it was said....most of us in here cant afford an 600+hp ls1....so quit

I don't bash LS1's. In fact, I love 'em. IMO however...10 and 11 second cars are slow. That doesn't mean I dislike them. Neon's on the other hand...

Well Unit, I think most people will disagree with you when you say 11, 12 13 sec cars are slow. If it is someone's drag only car, then yes...that's slow. But a 12 sec street car is in about 1-2% population with the rest of the cars out there. Yes, there are quite a few streetable cars that can break the 10 sec barrier, those are just sick and people have put a lot of money and time in their ride. But the everyday joe who has a Car they work their *** off for, mod here and there, deserve a little bit more than "It's Slow", especially from Someone such as yourself. I am sure you are fully aware of what it takes to have a 12- sec car and that there are very few cars, (Unless you are at a place where all the street racers meet) so a little respect should be given. Maybe you got deeper issues, like where you get the time to have 3000+ posts a year and have time to pay for the car you got.

When I said that they are "no joke," I meant that they can be quick, and some can roast stock or near stock LS1's. Sure they look like sh*t, (I would never be caught dead in one) but some of them can run (depending on your definition of "run".)

I had a LS1 a year and a half ago and I'll have a LS7 in another year.

...and yes...Lamborghini's, Ferraris, Vipers, McLaren F1's are all slow to ME in straight line performance in stock trim.

Maybe you should re-read my posts since you're so offended. I said 10 thru 13 second cars are slow TO ME. That's MY opinion. It's funny that you guys get so hurt over my opinion.
Are you unaware of the fact that one tends to get used to certain power levels and they become routine to them?
My best friend's car runs 200mp in the 1/4. He had a 800rwhp street car when he was in high school (over 10 years ago). Be around that all day every day and tell me how fast a 12 second car is that traps 110mph.

This is very true I guess. I think it should be labeled as a medical condition. Too much horsepower is just enough

To me, a 10-11 sec car is fast, probably because I don't have the luxury of tons of track time and a shitload of gearhead buds. I can see how in your point of view, most **** is slow. I realize that a 10-11 sec LS1 isn't enough to hang with the serious racers, but it's enough for me. If people take some dude on the net's opinion so damn seriously, it might be them that needs to get a life.
