i think i will be pickin it up next weekend. its an 01' ws6 m6 with headers and exhaust. but i think with you having the 4.11's and exhaust it should be pretty damn close with a slight edge going to you. i think i am goin down next saturday to get it. maybe we could meet somewhere saturday night. i would like to run another ls1 car just to make sure i dont get a dud.

well i dont know any of your areas very well. i wouldnt mind running the syclone. i know you will rip me from a dig. i have only driven the car once, it has a stock clutch, and it has 18's and stock 3.42 rear. so i dont expect it to rip too hard from a dig. i will run from a dig for fun, but i would rather go from a slow roll. maybe we could all meet up at the pavillions? is that too far for you guys? let me know what you guys think. i want to get it dynoed also, i hope it does better than my last car. it should since it is an 01' with the ls6 intake, has long tubes and borla exhaust.

I live down the street from the pavillions, but I work on Sat. nights so I can rarely make it out there. I found a bad leak with the alki so that really needs to be addressed first.

well there are no guarantees, i am going down saturday to try and make a deal on the car. if i get it, i will be at the pavillions. if i dont then i wont be there. but i think i am getting it. pretty sure unless somthin doesnt work out. i will post back up friday afternoon to let you know incase anything changes.

hey man, did you make it out there? i cruised out there with one of the guys from AZFBA. i looked around and didnt see your car there. i was only there from like 6:30 to 7:30 or so. cant really remember. there were a shitload of cars out there. not very many 4th gens at all. there were a couple younger guys with 2 ls1's trans ams. both were really nice cars. and there was a silver ws6 that i thought was yours for a second but it had some badass aftermarket wheels on it. and i thought u had SS wheels. but i got the new car and like it alot. seems to run better then my last car and it should since it has long tubes and is a 01' with the ls6 intake. the guy i bought it from bought an 04' zo6 on friday. we did a short run from a 1st gear roll to the top of 2nd and he was about 1.5-2 cars out in front of me by like 65 although he got on it when he was still behind me and kinda did a fly by. either way he would have stomped me. but i will let you know next time i will be in town and we can meet up for sure.

 

Hmmm thats crazy ive never seen it run mid 11's either....ive seen it trap 118 but not run mid 11's Im sure its capable of 11's @ 120ish but i got to get my **** together. I think younger brothers get excited and like to pump older bros **** up!

Best run so far was a 12.3@118 and missed 4th at roughly the 1000ft mark lol. Actually i dicked 4th up both my runs that night. First run i cut my 1.9 sixty and everything was good until i hit my rev limiter because i thought i was already in 4th (oops what a dummy!) Only good thing that night was i cut 2 1.9 60fts. So more or less my 2nd time at the track was embarrasing. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm

Just realized that my tranny is messed up. Stupid 700R4's apparently don't like 450+ torque, go figure

 

Last night I was at speedworld from 8-midnight... It was my first time to the track so i was excited... it was awesome. The best i could pull off was a 13.7 though, I did beat a mach 1 an Srt 4, and a vette once, I think i need to get my launch perfected and then i will be able to make a better et. I saw smartass there, I didnt get to run him but he has a sweet *** car, maybe next sat.
