thanks for the compliments. your car looks damn good too. my girlfriend liked the SS 10 spokes on your car. she trys and tell me that the Zo6 wheels look ricey. i would have swore i saw u run a 13.44@106. maybe it saw 13.74. i remember because i only ran twice and my best was a 13.40@107.8 and i was goin to go see if i could pull a 13.3 but my girlfriend was tired and sore from walkin around at the pavillions car show all afternoon. plus i had a 1.5 hour drive home. so we took off. but yeah, once u get used to the track and get your launch and your shifts down just right u will be runnin low 13's. let me know if you are going again anytime soon and i will see if i can head down and meet up with you.

 

p.s. i raced that mach 1 and he only pulled a 14.2@102 i think, when i ran him. what was he runnin when u raced him? and how did that srt4 run? it sounded kinda mean.

 

my 60' were right around 2.1 and i was on nittos... heating them up a little each run, My best time was around a 13.74 @ 106 i think.... The mach 1 was a good match up he was running 13.8.. somthing. I ran the black srt 4 which wasnt much of a match as i thought, i beat him by 3+ cars, did you get to run that black vette that sounded cammed? I did and each time it was really close

 

no i didnt run the vette, he was definately cammed. but the thing had some high *** gears in it. he was trapping 110 plus and was only a little ways into 3rd gear at the end of the 1/4. it didnt hook up for **** either. i might be heading down to speedworld the weekend after this one. i will let you know and maybe we can meet up at the track or somthin.

 

It's gonna be about 2600 for my tranny build, so I won't be able to run any time in the next few months.

Yeah i was wondering why i was keeping with him so good through the quarter mile... Yeah i definately want to run you next time we are out there. My little bro said you were running 13.4s and im trying to figure out why i cant do better than a 13.7 haha...

 

i think with those nittos aired down and warmed up you should be able to launch harder. should be able to get 1.9 60's atleast. but the first time at the track is a bitch. it will get better. we will definately have to run eachother next time.

 

you know what.. now that i think about it i was running about 28 psi in the nitto drags.. that cant be good for my time, ill try something like 17-18 psi next time

 

yeah, the d/r's liek to be down in the teens to hook good. i have a set of BFg 255/16 D/Rs that i used on my old car. the best 60' i got with them was a 2.1 because i never aired them down. this saturday is the northern arizona shootout at speedworld. i am goin to watch. might race, not sure yet. i think you have to be in an organization from northern arizona to race in this event. i will find out for you if you want to go.

well i think i am going but probably wont race. you have to be in a club or somthing from northern arizona to race in it. so unless i can find some local club that is goin down i probably wont be raceing.
