The LT1 hatery is amazing, lol. I know you guys won't believe this but my '95 Z28 M6 with a CAI and cat-back beat 2 stock A4 2.73 LS1s and hung within 2 cars to 80 mph with a stock '01 WS6 M6. This DID happen so I know there are some strong LT1s out there. The average LS1 is about 50 rwhp stronger stock but who leaves their damn car stock on purpose on this board? I know I damn sure won't when funds allow for mods.

I have been jumping on the LT1 guy for a while but after reading the 04 GTO (Stock) thread and seeing as how everyone believes a stock 04 GTO can beat a H/C 6speed LT1 yet thinks this is impossible. I say FU stupid biaed MFers. You will believe what you want to believe.

I don't know where this guy is located at but I have a very mildly bolt-on lt1 z28 he can race if he is near southern cali. Not my car because my car is sold and dont want to mess it up more then it is before the buyer comes and gets it. It's a 96 z28 M6 with cai, shorty headers, stock y-pipe and cats, cat-back, and electric water pump. Oh and he is on some chrome 18's with shity tires too.

I don't hate LT1's. Some of the fastest cars here are LT1's (Taners comes to mind). But this moron is trying to say his stock LT1 beats stock and even bolt-on LS1's all the time. This of course makes no sense because everyone knows they are comparible in weight & gears which means the LS1's 30-50 rwhp advantage makes it faster out of the box.
Hell I'm looking into picking up a M6 LT1 so I can have some fun around town allowing me to go rediculously heavy on a heads/cam/converter combo in the Formula turning it into a trailer queen. That's my idea of heaven right there. I can enjoy the "fun factor" of the M6 coupled with the awesome exhaust note in an LT1 while pulling the LS1 A3 to the track in search of a 9 second time slip.
Damn, that gives me a boner just thinking about it

OK anything is possible I beat a 8 second Vega that got 100% sideways with my lt1 that runs high 11's. And then we have the AWFUL driver factor , I have seen SS/WS6 ls1's run 15's . BS?? No just the driver does not know what they are doing! But the overall statement of a stock lt1 raping stock & mild bolton ls1's is weak IMO.

Lt1 My Lt1 ran a best of 13.53 at 101.85 1.9 60ft stock tires t/b cai did it once with two back to back 13.7's. Even with those times I think I would have trouble with a stock Ls1.An Ls1 with Identical times would still trap higher miles per hour.The Ls1 would eat me up by the 330 mark in the 1/4.Another thing is that the Ls1 's are more consistant than the Lt1's.

What makes the LS1 so much better than the LT1 to me is the LS1's response to mods. A procharged LS1 runs mid to high 11s, procharged LT1 runs low to mid 12s. My A4 LS1 ran a 14.3 @ 100 stock (2.73s + Nittos) with a 2.3 60' (my track def. isn't the fastest). With the mods in the sig below i ran a 12.821 @ 109.23 with a 2.0XX 60'. 1.5 sec/9mph gain from exhaust and intake bolt ons (gears too) 
. To my knowledge for an LT1 to run the same time as me the car would need a decent stall, and that doesn't even gaurantee the car will match my trap.
And i do have the slips, but i'm lazy, so unless someone insists i'm not going to post them.
