Got killed
I just had an incredible 5 days of racing a real race car around Sebring and Daytona. After coming off NASCAR turn 2 WOT in 5th gear and threshold braking/ double clutch downshifting/ trail braking into a high speed 3rd gear chicane, street racing seems like a real petty thing to me now. I don't care who's running what on the street anymore.
By the way, nice death to the post starter! Get that Evo next time.

Enis,
You're right, I think I just lost a few more brain cells.

Of course LS1s are starting to show their age. They're now pretty much defunct, there are no new LS1-powered cars, GM has moved on to the LS2 as it's base performance V-8 now. But who cares? Look at fox body Mustangs. Stock, they're slow as dirt. But how many stock fox bodies do you know of? The LT1 is becoming that way, and in a few more years the LS1 will be the same way.
