A kid in my town. My t/a has 31,000 miles its a 2002 WS6 A4 all that jazz. and his is a 1998 non ram air. no upgrades

It could go either way, but it will be close unless he has 2.73s. I know you have 3.23s

 

well if he has 2.73's... and his is an automatic with 47,000 miles... what is his 0-60 i thought the non ram airs were like 5.7 0-60;s just like the Z28's...

 

You probably have 10-20 more hp than he does. I know the stock WS6 0-60 times were 5.2, so maybe a little slower than that. I know up top the hood may give you a slight benefit.

 

i seen it posted time and time again a ls1 is a ls1 is a ls1. it will be a drivers race a z28 stock for stock no slower than my ws6. and a formula will be just as fast as t/a. should be a close race. gears and weight will be a factor but not a huge one. the 3.23 will be a advantage but it was a very common option on all the ls1's

 

My 0-60 was 5 seconds flat, on a 2k T/A (non ram air) ...
a4, 2.73 gears

 

An ls1 is an ls1 blah blah blah, chances are it will be very close, its a drivers race on that one, some of the 98's were dogs and some were beasts, just as much as the other years, but dont under estimate him, all you really have on him is a hood and some suspension, i (98 TA non ram air) raced the camaro in my sig (02 SS w/10k on the clock) stock vs. stock and consistently put on him and he's an M6, and im an a4, so you wont know til you race him, and dont be afraid of losing, i've lost to a good few people, a vette, another ta, etc. and i dont care (i wont lose now tho )
