to tell u the truth i was originally going to get a 03 kb cobra that was in the lot for the same money i paid for my z. yes, the cobra had alot more power and it pulled nasty, but the way i felt in the z, it feels like a cockpit, brakes are awesome and it just felt so much better overall.

ill probably spray it if anything. boost is too much money on a z06
Call A&A and get one of Andy's $4995 P1SC/FMIC kits. With that and headers you'll be well over 550 rwhp.

nice race. Pesonally, i feel the same way about the zo6. Hey, did you have duals on your SS? Just wanted to know if im thinking about the same guy, used or still hangs with sffba....

good choice....even if the cobra has pullies, i dont think that it will be that bad of a race.....a kb well, that might be tough, but you can always match his mods and tak him out!!!!!

I hope It's alot lighter than the 03-04 heavy *** Iron buckets or else I think the Z will be Pulling away.

I dont blame you for taking the Z06, if the cobra is already modified its prob had the **** beaten out of it so that was prob the best choice. The 03-04 cobras are just plain nasty. I got to take one out for a test drive in Maine, and they let me go by myself, and I beat on the thing so bad. I need to start modding my Z now though...

It will be lighter than the previous Cobra, by how much i dont know, all im thinking of is the "under rated" blown 5.4 liter power plant under the hood!!!

Dont see how the GM brakes felt better than the 13.0" vented brembro cobra brakes?

Good kill BTW.

Maybe because the car is significantly lighter and they are PBR calipers not Brembo, the only thing Brembo is the discs, just like the vette!.

Those Brembo's ain't all they're cracked up to be. It took me about two months to warp my front rotors.

I agree. Last year when I was shopping for a new ride, I test drove several cars including 04 Cobra, but at the end I ended up with Z06 because I felt that it was all around better car. Sure Cobra has the potential to be a hp/tq monster but I wanted a car that is very good with straight lines and curves and the Z06 fit those criteria.

Good kill BTW.
The money I get for the camero should be enough to buy some killer mods to catch up!

Yeah I feel the same way. The Z06 (Or any newer corvette imo) just feels so much more PROFESSIONAL than the cobras do.

Every terminator cobra that I've driven or ridden in just seemed loosely slapped together and had rattles and **** that just made it seem sloppy. It rattled worse than my '94 T/A.

Vettes that I've been in and driven on the other hand seemed very nice and tight, very pro feeling. Still a long shot from a dodge viper though.. I've only had the pleasure a few times, but driving those was sweeeeet.
