was it black? if it was i know the original owner of the car. he sold that car for $30k dollars. it is a 01 z06 with a procharger. it put down 540rwhp. however, every race he had, he lost. got smoked by a 347 95 gt spraying. and from a roll

by any chance. did it have chrome z06 wheels? if it did then it is not a z06. it is a 03 c5 with a procharger and z06 wheels.

 

You know what, you may have a point. I can't recall if it was hardtop or not. I just caught the bling of the little silver fender emblem where "Z06" usually goes as I was talking to Mike from SFFBA and did not investigate any further.

 

thats not a z06 and that car isnt tuned right so it doesnt run very well. he added nitrous thinking that it would be his savior, but all he did is blow the motor with only 9k miles on it.

Grey Teg?

 

No, black one, looks incredibly stock.. 502whp on high boost.

 

I ran a grey Teg from a 50mph roll (incredibly stock looking also) when my car was cammed with stock heads (around 390rwhp at the time). We ran dead even until 115mph.

 

Hrmm.. only fast grey one I know of is N/A. It's fast (good for high 12's) but I doubt it'll give a cammed LS1 a hard time.

Yup, over a year ago. Hmm, maybe it was black? Kid was short, dark skinned, skinny guy with acne marks on his face- I remember that, as I pulled over to talk to him. His engine bay was so simple- no bling at all. Told me he wasn't pushing full boost. Car was dark grey (or black) with simple gunmetal wheels and the only hint of any mods was a simple exhaust tip slightly larger than stock- total sleeper.

 

Ehh.. doesn't sound like Jose, might have been another guy I know of but I can't really say, nice little run-in in any event!

 

yeah, good to hear the importers (notice I didnt say ricers) are trying to go the sleeper route.

 

Nice kill southie!!! Street racing is by far the smartest thing... but its pretty damn tempting. Not that I ever really do it much(not much competition for the blazing fast jettamobile). The road racing thing sounds like a lot of fun!
