when my car was bone stock, I raced a 5-sp 02 GT @ RT66 raceway with my buddy in the car. The stang didn't lose, he got WALKED. To make it close I probably would have had to give him 2-4 lengths from a dig on the street, and I'd probably still be confident...
Kid w/ TA: Practice, practice, practice!
Launch the car at 1500 RPM, put your foot on the floor, shift at 5500 (so if you miss a shift it won't go too far over 6000rpm), put your foot on the floor, shift at 5500, stand on it again- now you WIN.

he is a good driver and his car has been known to smoke a few ls1s, and also robert we were even just about the hole time
and i think my car is messed up cause the ls1 is soppose to pull in 3rd and it wasnt, any ideas

When my 99 Camaro was bonestock with 400 miles I ran a 13.2. The next run I missed 3rd gear and still ran a 13.8 @ HRP....Even if the TA can't drive he should still win the race.

Re: 02 Mustang GT vs 02 Trans am the race pewter i got you bad, we were not even the whole way, you did not set me out, you gave me the move 1 time and i beat you by 2-3, you got beat deal with it, i know your car is faster, but hey the truth doesnt lie, you have only had your lisence a week, but you have raced many many many times before so dont give me that bullshit

Re: 02 Mustang GT vs 02 Trans am the race haha the 3 races when i was in the car went like this. first one we were at a light. light goes green mustang spins ta wins by about 2. second race 3 honks. both launch ok mustang wins by abuot 2. 3rd race at a light both launch ok mustang out by about 2 have to shut down due to traffic.

I'd like to see the mustang driver behind the wheel of the TA..just to see what the TA is really capable of. You guys could pull the switch..Hell, maybe dad could drive. I used to beat my brother's M6 LT1 in my car, and then beat my LS1 in my brother's LT1..back to back, switching drivers. It was funny.
