street racing violation code code 23109(a) or 23109(a)cvc I got busted for street racing but I want to know what it does.Also how much does it cost for the ticket only not the impound

Re: street racing violation code i had 2 street racing tickets at one time and a show of power ticket. everytime i got caught they just wrote me the ticket and didnt give me my id back untill court but i could still drive.

Re: street racing violation code I live in CO, and I was stopped for racing, actually it was something like "beging of exerption of speed". I was starting to race a 3000gt, when I saw the cop. He wasn't clocking, so I was let off real easy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Here, you get like a 24 point ticket, and your car is impounded for 30 days, or somthing like that <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />

Anyway, your car will likely be held for 30 days unless the impound officer is feeling generous. If it's a first offense you should get about what I got; a $100 fine and 2 points. Just listen to the judge, agree with him, and look <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> . The fine sucks, the impound is much worse, and the points are downright murder on your insurance bill. Good luck. Hopefully the <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> will be lenient.
