From what I heard, they agreed to race to a certain point on the strip. They are just making excuses for losing. They were fully prepeared for the race, bringing slicks and ght. Here's a quote from someone who was there:

O.k. boys, I was close to the finish line. I would say about 100ft. When the the boys passed by the Talon was in front of the T.A. I know its hard to believe, but it is true. Now by the looks of it, the Talon did not know where the finish line was, so I think he just let off the pedal. and thats when the T.A. came around. The Talon let off just after he passed me by. I've been out at the these ordeals since 1986 and in my opinion the T.A. won the race because the Talon screwed up and let off. I got to see it last night!! Pretty cool.
In the video at the begining ... It has Chris's & Justin's conversation . In which Justin acknowledges the PROLOGICS SIGHN as the finish.
My footage was 40 yards beyond the PROLOGICS SIGHN !!! The Eclipse had about TWO CARS AT THAT POINT !! Anyways the video is done , they are uploding it in multiple servers as we speak. You will see first hand how the MTI car fell from grace , not because it lost but because of the people that did not payup when it lost .

Geeze I hope the car is alot faster than that , I drove back there to see how bad Justin's wheels spun down the track. Funny thing is Justin DID spin pretty bad. But if you take a look at the second set of tracks (all four of them) you will notice they almost went to the finish line. I know i have a FORD and all...but i see two problems with this.....

1.FROm what it sounds like, the race was on the street <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> (maybe someone can clear this up for me)
why not just do it on the track?

2.Why are u only racing 1000ft instead of the 1320?

I just am curious.

From what I undestand people dont run the full 1320 at Pinemont is becuase it to hard to stop if you run the 1/4.

There really is nothing to say. What can they say. They just got beat end of story. That just proves, 4 cyl. doesn't need 22,000 on a stroker kit to compete. The video will show them discussing the race. From start to finish

What I was trying to say is that, the ls1 has a 20,000 dollar stroker kit from MTI, and the eclipse is still running stock displacement which is 2.0

whatever, they probably put more money than the TA has into that eclipse just to make it as fast as it is. what does that japcrap weigh anyway? u know that the TA is a full weight daily driver. lets see if that eclipse can drive 2 miles without overheating or breaking down. get a clue <img border="0" alt="[gruffy cottonball]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_gruffy.gif" />

Do the rematch at HRP. That way no one has to worry about the cops, you will both have better traction, the start is the same for both cars so if you leave early you red light and lose, and the finish is marked.

HRP makes sense to me, why would you guys not want to do a rematch at the track?
