Just curious, why are your times so slow with that much power? Does your track just completely suck or what?
If Mr. Mongoose goes to Raceway 42 here in ohio.......it's the track

tit-
I have yet to get a clean pass with my SS. I ran it two passes last season. The 1st pass I hooked great with a 1.7 60ft(launching at 3500) on my ET streets(brand new,0 passes, with 18psi, and my first pass ever on slicks). Just after the 60 ft my ET streets(26x10.5x16) broke loose and the *** end kicked out, and put me into a 2 o'clock position(looking at the right wall). I stayed in the throttle, spinning, I slammed 2nd, the *** end swung to the other side, putting me at 11 o'clock position. About 2/3 through 2nd I was finally straight. I got a bit of tire spin on the 2-3 shift. A nice chirp into 4th. I passed the traps with a 12.5@114mph. LoL! This was at Thompson Drag Raceway on a wednesday night(grudge night w/o any track prep, on a known SHITTY track). Dragway 42 is like NORWALK compared to Thompson. There is about a 2-5 tenth difference between Thompson and Norwalk,Norwalk being the better track. My second pass(was the 1st round of eliminations). I had no idea what to dial in at since the previous pass was screwy. I dialed in at 12.25. I was pitted against a stock 2001 WS6 A4 who ran 4 time trials, all in the mid 13s(13.68,13.47,13.31, and his best of 13.28). He was running fairly consistant, conseidering the track conditions, and his times were gettnig quicker as the temperature was decreasing. He dialed in at 13.40 and I was dialed in at 12.25. We staged and his lights came down and he launched. I waited 1.15 seconds before I got to go(that seemed to be the longest 1.15 seconds ever. I launched at 4000 and hooked great(I felt like I got rear-ended by a Suburban ). As I shifted into 2nd I was almost to his door. Half way through 2nd I was ahead of him and pulling. As I approached 6500rpm, I had 4-5 cars on him. I powershifted to 3rd and I kept the pedal to the floor. I then felt like I wasn't accelerating anymore and I was slowing. I at first I thought I blew the clutch. I looked into my mirror and the WS6 was gaining. I looked down at the shifter and I was in 5th, probably for 2-4 seconds(damn POS factory HURST). The WS6 was at my rear bumper. I slammed the shifter into 3rd and stomped it again. I was about 2/3 through 3rd and began to pull on the WS6 as we passed through the traps. He ran 13.52@107 and I ran 12.9@111. I would have easily broke out had I not misshifted. For Christ's sake I was next to him as I grabbed 2nd gear.
The ET/MPH in my sig(13.1) is for my 00 WS6 M6, which is stock except for the cutout and hood nostril baffles removed. I know my SS can easily run 11s. I think a clean pass with a 1.50-1.60 60 ft would net me a 11.2-11.5@120-122mph. But I won't get that ET unless I do one of your guy's 5500-6000RPM dumps on ET DRAGS. I also need toshave some weight to get that ET. I think with stock weight plus the 12 bolt and my 190lb ***, I think 11.7ish is attainable.

Beat an '01 stang GT on my first pass ever, shifting into 5th instead of 3rd. They're funny. Have not lost to one yet. I say yet, cause it will happen someday, I know, I know.
Had another one keep up with me on really long I-95 onramp the other day. I was going 85%. He was doing 100% all out. I know cause I asked him later at an intersection.
I used to own a '93 5.0 notchback 5-sp. Does not compare to the SS.
