Peak horsepower numbers on the dyno can be misleading....A 4 banger turbo making 500whp peak will make less average hp than a 500whp peak NA V8.... On that note weight can also make a HUGE difference.... Only way ro find out is race his ***, if he beats you with your 400rwhp Ls1, give him props and add mods! Personally I doubt you'll lose...

As far as launching I will admit that I have little experience in this car. However once you're hooked up any idiot can drive an M6...well almost any idiot. I think the easy way to find out what he's done is to ask how much boost he's running. I think their stock turbo is good for just under 20 if I'm not mistaken. I don't care if he is sprayin' a 25# turbo...my bike will not lose.
