Not really that fast compared to today's liter bikes. It's a little faster than today's 600s. It'll run 10.30s@131 or so.

I believe that I know the guy filming, his names Milo. I first saw this vid at his apartment a looong time ago. He also had some vids of them destroying some guy in a WRX, and they had just come out at the time. There were some other movies of a white T/A vert that was running mid 9's at the time. Which was also a magazine cover car some time later.

If it's the video I think you all are talking about, it is on F-bodyhideout.com in the video section. The title does contain the words Harlan and YZF Thunderace. Just in case anyone wanted to know another location for the video. Hell this might be a different video altogether, but it sounds just like what pwr2w8 described.

i guarantee it's harlan's fireHAWK. period. guarantee. that video is badass, but old. Harlan races a YZF1000 in his hawk with the incon kit and wins, but the video always got mislabled as a GSXR1000.

Ohh damn, that was good. I've seen this vid enough times that I was just about rolling when I read this.
BTW guys, I've got a video of my car but I just need a place to host it. It was filmed by two guys in a convertible following me around in my '00 firehawk. I romp on it a few times and one time I'm on the passenger side and you can see my roll cage and I look over at the cam. Then me and the camera car race at night and I own it. Good vid, maybe I'll post it someday.
