Default I absolutely HATE elevation!!

I raced a Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT, you know the turbocharged family sedans which I knew were pretty quick but A LOT faster than I thought.

Anyway, this guy was driving like as *** all over the place picking on cars that were obviously not a challenge so I decided to give him one. We were on a highway and I caught up to him in third. I paced him for a bit trying to get him to bite and of course he wouldn't when I was ready but I left it in third in case he tried to pull something out of his ***. Well he did so he got the hit first and damn I had my work cut out to catch him. He put my nose at his rear on the hit and I took me well into the top of third to put a car on him. I was pretty scared for a bit as I was pulling VERY slowly on him and didn't think I would catch him. And to make things worse, my g/f was with me and thinks that car is really fast now! I am sure you guys know what I mean by the title since at sea level I would have dominated this guy with no problem. I NEED A TURBO!!

Sounds good man, I just need to get a new fuel pump and we can do it. I figure I will make it out there sometime at the end of this month or the beginning of next. I will let you know on RSW when I know for sure.

Ya elevation doesn't affect turbos as much. I think that if the na cars correction is 1 sec off to make it like sea level, then the fi car's correction is only .5 sec off.

The track is at 5320 and yes I get **** all the time even though it's in my sig. But it's cool. Some day I will be running times here that would be respectable at sea level!

I go to TopGun in Fallon, NV at @4000ft. altitude. It drives people crazy because they run a full second slower than in Sacramento. When you get 12's or better at altitude, its a good feeling I have fun, because my little turbo Nissan can run with cars that would blow it away at sea level. If anyone gives you crap, just invite them out to Albuquerque for a race
