Murdered the LT1

Murdered the LT1 - VIDEO There's a guy I went to high school with and last year he got a '97 WS6. When he got it he thought he was the ****, beating WRX's and stuff. I told him LS1 > LT1 but he kept telling me something about how torque will overcome hp.
Well since ive had my car he's been deployed in the Marines, he got back Sun.
Today my other friend calls me and tells me to come over(he also believes in LT1s over LS1s) when I get there, guess who's there, yep the guy with the '97 WS6. It was like a trap or something for me but they obviously dont know LS1s
I also expected this so I brought my camera along to gather some evidence. First thing anyone says is "where's this going down?"
We go to the spot and I give my friend the camera to hold in the guy's car and my other friend jumps in with me to even things out.
We go from a dig and I get alot of wheelspin but an alright launch and just murdered him. I had three cars on him by third gear. We tried it again and that time I didnt spin at all and beat him just as bad.
Im not bragging about how fast my car is, its mostly stock see sig. This is just something I thought id share.
BTW: I have the whole thing on video in Digital 8 i just dont know how to post it yet.

Here we go again, another LT1 kill, come on man, stop beating on LT1's. Nice kill dude but man, wat's up with everyone on ls1tech this week, its freaking depressing me, and how much more for Vendetta, the LT1 director.

) I'm just sharing my experience. IMHO sometimes LT1 owners need to be taught a lesson. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against the LT1. Driven several Impala's 4th gens with the motor in it. The low end grunt is great fun. I've had to show a couple LT1s what's up. Nice runs '02WS6. Can't wait to see the vid.

IMO they were dumb for thinking they were hot **** in a close-to-stock LT1. Stock for stock, it's no secret that the LS1 is a greater motor. However, the more you mod, the closer the gap gets.
Example being that the fastest stock suspended LT1 and fastest stock suspended LS1 are both withing a tenth of a second of each other.
