The 2nd vid shows the turbo TA pulling on the Supra like the Supra was a toy.

PS-sorry for mini-hijacking.

I have a friend that works at HRE in CA. and sent me some pics of a Carrera GT at Fontana Raceway in which the two occupants died while trying to show off to the Ferrari club. He talked **** to one of my buddies friends with a 360 Stradale with slicks and they went out and the Ferrari followed the Porsche around sucking him up in the corners and gettin on the brakes as to not run into the guy, he was on radials. Going into a corner at about 120 the guy in the 360 saw nothing but white smoke and dust flying, but no car in front. The GT went off the track, spun and hit the concrete barrier dead on the passenger side at around 110mph. The passenger died on impact and the driver died en route. The driver's seat was shifted to the right about a foot, his lap was still strapped in, but his torso was in the passenger seat......use your imagination. I guess he won't talk **** anymore....

Thing is, Carrera GT's are supposedly an all-out BITCH to launch with the way the tricky clutch works. Race him from a dig if you can. I dunno if they're tough to shift when rolling, but launching them is said to be extremely tricky even by the pro's.
You're best bet is a dig, but you might as well roll-race to see that sucker in action. Those cars pull like no other.

Wow not a bad first race for your turbo setup. That porsche is absolutely gorgeous but I think the race will be a little closer that everyone thinks, especially if you are going in a straight line (no twisties as im sure that the carrera gt handles like a dream) and your a better driver. With a 500+rwhp ls1 my guess would be that you would be trapping around 125-130 mph in the 1/4, give or take a few mph which would put you very close to the porsche's numbers. Are you guys gonna go from a roll or from a dig? Id suggest going from a dig because if you have good tires and can get your tires to hook and he smokes his tires you get a good jump on him, then it should be a real good race. Try to get it on video if you can because id love to see that race. Good luck and post up the results ASAP!

Cruising up Pacific Coast Highway this weekend, I stumble upon a Porsche Carrera GT. I've only seen one other GT on the street ever, and it was an old guy that didnt want to play. Anyway, the owner was cool this time around and we made a couple of runs. The first was from a stoplight up to about 130 (damn trafic). I spun a little off the line and slightly through second trying not to roast the hides completely, banged third and he was right there!!! I pulled maybe a car on him before we had to get on the binders. Damn! those things are quick!! And the sound of that motor is friggin' orgasmic. The next run was from a 45 mph roll up to about 140ish with the same result. I wanted to play some more but he gave me a thumbs up and pulled into a gated community (his pad I'm guessing). Sorry for the picture quality. I clicked it off with my phone camera before the action.

I would say get a bigger turbo. Run more boost and then race this guy just to make sure you win. And if hes 17-20 rich kid Im guessing he cant drive. Id say you have a good chance but its not in the bag.
