I ran into an older guy with his wife in a 300C (w\hemi in it).
I thought to myself "i wonder if he will run. this will be a nice kill"
Long story short, i got my *** handed to me....not once, but twice.

Those 300C's run right around 14.0, so if you got "your *** handed" to you twice, than somethings wrong, or else he had the SRT8 or was not stock.

yeah, there's no way a stock 300c should have beat you, let alone whooped you......a stock srt8 could "hand you your ***" if you're close to stock(mid 13s)(depending on how much *** you're talking about)......

Well, not altogether since the base vette now has 400hp and the Z06 is going to have 500hp. Seems they temporarily stepped out of the lower priced HP war, but not the mid-upper price range war.

I worked for chrysler and dove the 300c and rode in a brand new srt8. My 82 camaro will out run a 300c. The srt8 runs 13.4 The Gto out ran it in the 1/4 and the All mighty CTSV out ran them both. Just think about it. Pulling up to a light camming out and slicks and junk and get your busted by a Caddilac. Hail to the LS6. Long story short chrysler is slow.

despite being mismatched in prices, door numbers, weight, ect., all three of the cars finished with virtually identical performance numbers......and in the real world, if you're just looking at 1/4 mile times, all three normally run low 13s, and all three have seen stock cars dip into the 12s.......

btw, that's great that your worked 305 will outrun a 14 second 4200 pound 300c family sedan...
