I know I am just magazine racing here, but I wouldn't think a Modena w/only 400hp/275tq at the crank could run a 12.2@119. I guess anythings possible, but I'd think it would have to have either been modded.

It might have been a Challenge Stradale. The Modena 360 CS is rated at 425 or 475, I forget which.

I read it in one of those Super Car shootouts. It was an F1 paddle equipped car 12.2 @ 119. I am pretty sure it was not the Stradale. I may be wrong. Also they did get faster in the later model years.

I ripped the **** out of one from a dead stop, did just as much damage from a 60 roll. I didn't spray on him but if I had an electric bottle opener I would have just to **** the guy off that much more. "yeah it cost more than most people's houses" And you still got smoked by a TA with $55K

I beat a 360 with just a cam and shorty headers...LS1 with 150shot would OWN a 360. Something isn't adding up here.

i smell bs. i raced a 360 cs with my stock vert c5 and he wasnt pulling THAT hard. a bolt on ws6 would beat a regular 360. a bolt on spraying ws6 would rape it.

I know what you are saying but if thats your attitude about spray than why have it? Taking out an exotic seems like a good use for it if you are otherwise stock.

I was really perplexed 'til I read his reply verifying, which we ALL already knew, that he didn't spray the Modena.

Good GOD . . . I put bus-lengths on them . . . and I've raced quite a few down here in South Florida

Yeah I would think so with your mods. You pushing around 475 to the wheels?

Actually . . . an LS1 can whoop 'em with bolt-ons I did before the various H/C packages I ran . . . with the H/C it's just a waste of gas . . . even for the F430's.

Which is something I don't understand: a Gallardo traps 121 and an F430 traps as high as 123 yet they don't perform up to those trap speeds on the street from a roll . . . and this was with my 231/237 cam before the LSX 90/90 and Kooks

I've killed more than a few F355's in all trims (Spyder, Berlinetta, and GTS) in a lid/cut-out TA. This one time I pulled up to the red light right next to this guy in a red F355 Spyder. I rev it up, and he looks over and says in a snobby attitude "You're going to need to spend more than $20,000 to beat this," and he laughed. I knew I could take F355's because it wasn't the first one I raced, so I look over and say "Wanna bet?" The light turns green and we hit it. We ran up to about 100 and then we come to the next stop light. I had a full car-length on him when we shut down. We are sitting at the next red light, and the guy doesn't even want to look over at me. The light turns green and he obviously doesn't want to go anymore. He honks to get my attention, and then FLIPS ME THE BIRD, and does a U-Turn immeadiately at the first place he could. That was classic! Whether you win or lose it's always fun to race exotics.
Ok, after reading all this I need to find one just to see what my car can do. Actually, I can't seem to get any takers around here usually all their seems to be are old ladies in mustangs, lol.

Talking

I drove a 360 before not all that fast in a straight line but it a pure bolt on F-bod or vette would have a HARD time beating one from a roll without some weight reduction.
