you guys make me laugh. I know dylan very well..he has a vid...and i was there to witness and you guys dont believe that? And no, the weight is not the same....i dont think that dylan has said anythng about that...but he and the car weigh in at 3200lbs. I have a 385 car and we are door to door most races, but me pulling half a fender from 20-120. And no...you are dead wrong about same weight/power.....they dont have the exact curve...hell what if the z06 made peak at 5K and drops off quickly and dylan doesnt peak until 6K and holds that for 1K? you obviously dont know your *** from a hole in the ground. Guess what guys....LS1/6s can loose to 4 bangers....lets see them go from a dig..at least dylan went from a roll.

All I know is this was supposedly a race between a 300whp Evo and a 380rwhp Z06 and a true 380rwhp Z06 will kill a true 300rwhp Evo on the highway given equal drivers. Simple as that. Heck hand me a 380rwhp Z06 and put me up against a real 300whp Evo and unless that evo is stripped to the bone, I'd bet any amount of money I'd leave him from a roll, no doubt.

I personally don't care who won at all ... I just find this statement to be funny.
You sit here in every post of yours and say how it is Impossible to be a bad driver from a roll .... but yet you missed a shift yourself ?? Therefore, in that particular race, you were a bad driver .... how could you possibly rule out that he may have done the same thing ?? Even the best drivers have incidents every once and awhile where they start in the wrong gear, miss a shift, give it too much/little gas, etc... as you so nicely just pointed out.
P.S. 380rwhp Z06 should have no issue lighting up the tires from a roll ....

Let me guess, the magazine articles are wrong, like always!
I've personally SEEN stock vettes hand Evo's their *** on Auotocross. The car is capable of doing it with a good driver more so than the EVO.
I give the EVO rally rights, no doubt!

304 vs 380, it doesn't matter what gearing! The stock gears are slightly closer in ratio than the Z06, not THAT much of a difference, guys, unless they are aftermarket.
They are too similar in weight, too, and the powerbands are both decent. Most, I repeat NOT ALL, Evo mods involve larger turbos and slower spools. Better peaks but even worse powerbands. Many don't bother with the head or CI increases except for very modded EVO's. Heck, I'll wager, on a dynograph, the Z06 probably has a little wider powerband, anyway. Both badass cars, of course. I'm done bench racing, now.

not really...the vette had an extra passenger and a full tank of gas...i was on E. We(zo6 and I)raced shortly before dylan and the Z06 ran and we were dead even too. Vid is posted on this site. I will dig it up if you like. Try again.

A 380 rwhp Z06 and a 385 rwhp Camaro get pulled, equally, by a 304 AWHP Evo... No.
Anyone that goes to race tracks knows that stock LS1's hang with Stock EVO's, if not TAKE them. LS6 Z06? Not the same. For an EVO to pull on a Z06, it's VERY possible. It just needs MODS.
NOT 304 AWHP, though! Sorry not enough. I've seen Evo's smoke Vettes MANY times around here. To beat a stock LS1 Vette, it needs AT LEAST 340 awhp... Not to mention a Z06 LS6! YOU try again. Try what? To have the consensus here actually believe this stuff... if you care...if you don't that's fine, it's not my story. I don't care either.
