I had to outrun someone once on the highway,...it's a WS6 with springs...thats it./ Handled well enough for the situation.

Is this cluster some thing I can do my self, or does it need specialist knowledge, and set-up afterwards.
I am in the UK and obviously not quite so easy as you luck guys.

The only things that i can think of with manuevering capabilites at those speeds is a bike or a airplane. i dont think there are any cars, at all that can maneuver at those speeds.. race cars excluded

If you pass a cop going in the triple digits at night, what is he going to do...radio in a unknown make of car, unknown color, etc.. that flew past him? They can't actually give you a ticket unless they can prove it was you can they?
Going that fast in the day time and a cop passing you is a different story...being he can actually see what you are driving...but still how do they prove it was you when some other cop pulls you over 10 miles down the road and you are no longer speeding... just curious about all this...in case I find myself in a...um.."situation"

How much does HP play into these top speeds? I'm really curious what the cam only guys can top out at w/ stock weight and stock gears. Are you guys that have topped out fifth redline limited or did you run out of power? If I actually had some road around here I could find out for myself.

True. Anything could happen but,..**** happens dude. What can you do.
Good, expensive tires, give us some comfort....but yes, anything can happen. There's a time and place for everything.
....and we have had some crazy high speed runs, for MILES.......and MILES.
Damn, that was awesome.
Roll cage and camera mount for the new add on list for sure.

The Autobahn(spelling?) records the lowest amount of fatal crashes per year of most highways i belive...i htink high speed is less dangerous, simply b/c YOU PAY ATTENTION MUCH BETTER. but if **** happens, IT HAPPENS!!!

Then I guess your chatting with two of them.
Both cars don't have stock suspension. One has coil overs. My brakes aren't stock. One of us have been to road raceing school, the other has been driving like this for years.
...and if you've ever driven a vette, C5 or C6 at high speed, you'd see that they handle quite well. Very FLAT, very stable. This one run, black bullet and I had, was wide by side, for miles, slow speeds were 130's, high speeds where top 180's, early 190ish, not even on straightaways, or always flat surfaces. Cars would ofcourse bounce a little, or bottom out slightly depending on the dips we'd hit. It was normally a 1hr drive, we made it in about 30 minutes in the early hours of the morning.
I owned a cobra once full Cobra R suspension, the high speed/highway driving is completely different.
I've never had a problem stopping, in any vette.
In my cobra, I did twice. The second, sucked. Reciepts to prove it.
