upcoming race
You will not hook up that car with your stall on street tires but its hard to be consistent with an m6 ,you can miss a shift, shortshift or hit the limiter. There is a fine line with bog or spin in the m6 ls1s also. Your auto should easily win off the line with some nittos or drag type tires but the m6 should likely run you down and maybe pass you as m6 have extra top end over the autos with similar mods. They also have 3.42 gears and you might have 2.73 or 3.23 don't think you said.
I won three out of five races against buddies lighter 2.73 near stock lt1 with my heavier 96z with mild mods not counting my 2800 vig and 3.42 gear swap. I lost the two from excessive wheelspin. We are going to try again mabye shortly and this time i have nittos so expect to win 5/5 times. It seems when we went on highway rolls instead of off the line the two cars are identical and neither can pull ahead so would think my 3.42 compensated for my extra weight and the stall gives me the big edge off the line. Not sure how much the stall helps after the launch.Just happy my fat over 3800 raceweight vert can keep up witha stripper z28. I did just add heavier wheels and tires so that might hurt me a bit more too now.
Anyway sorry to get off topic. Basically the stalled auto will rule off the line with traction and then be up to him to run you down. You might win in 1/8th but think would lose in 1/4 by a few cars. My prediction.

Yes I have 3.23s and definatly can't hook nearly as well as I would with DRs. Found out my best bet is to launch off idle and that actually results in less spin and no bogging because of traction loss. Heating the tires might give some improvement but not much so I'm expecting a very close race. If I get Nittos by then I would expect to rape him off the line though.
what are you guys doing this week cuz kevin was at work pretty much the entire weekend and giovanni cudnt answer his phone cuz he was up north but if you can do something this week pm me ill try to get something working
