I was on my way home from work tonight, when I notice a car behind me with some younger guys in it. I'm guessing they were 16-17. The light ahead of us was red, but turned green right as I was almost completely stopped, so I had it in first already. I took off slowly, figuring they wouldn't try anything. They pulled up next to me but were slowing down because they had it in neutral, revving that beast like there was no tomorrow. I decided to put on a show for them and jumped on it a little bit. I started spinning at about 3.5K-4.5K (cold tires here in MN) in first and shifted and gave them a nice chirp into second and immediately let off, and slowed down. They turned left and I went straight through town but the huge smiles all three of them had along with the thumbs up I got from all of them was nice. First time someone I didn't know tried anything with me. Made my night a little better.
BTW, they were driving an old

Bonneville/Lumina

I'm guessing? Their exhaust was amusing, as it sounded like it was halfway rusted off. So I knew they weren't actually trying to race me, just wanted to see me run it a little bit.
