Good thing u brought this subject i had a 50 something year old rich guy with a 97-98 gts call me yesterday wanting to race for a grand or better. We are suppose to race sunday at the local track head up 1/8 mile, him on regular street tires and i will prolly be on m/t drag radials or nitto's. I am betting he cant leave on the tree with me and hook as good as i can, but we will find out this weekend coming up. Will post results

Yeah just goes to show that some people dnt know **** about what they have or how to drive it.....I myself car drive decent and launch decent in my WS6, but I am still getting to know it. Everytime i come home I end up putting some new mods on....LMAO I aint had it a year and still dont know how to drive it, well I mean at the track....Coming home in Jan to add Intake and TB, Dyno and Tune......So there again, more to the lists!! LMAO
i raced my buddies 03 srt10( i konw a different car) but he ******* annhiliated me...my only loss on the street...and it was Horrible....believe me your car isnt faster than a viper being bone stock...
I think the GTS runs like mid 12, low 12 at best.... and yes good thing you were not on the highway because they will tear you up!!! i raced one and he pulled like a mother (given that it was my neighbor who is on his 3rd viper and really knows how to drive it)

I know his car is faster then mine and would drill me on the highway but I beat the driver, not the car. If you put a good driver in the Viper im sure that he would have owned me bad. Now im thinking of throwing a D1SC Procharger in, what do you think the outcome will be after that?

My cousin has a neighbor that owns both a vette and a viper. He races them down the dead end rode he lives on. Viper always pulls the vette no matter what he does to them. Must say im jelous as hell of that neighborhood show
