Yeah, the results aren't going to be to favorable for ay man, I remeber when I had my Z with full bolt ons and TR 224 cam I ran pretty much side by side with an 04 Mach ! on the highway and he had full exahsut and intake as well, those Mach 1's are quicker than regular GT's

LOL, you've got to be joking! Are you sure it was a 224 and not the stock cam? Full bolt on LS1 with a 224 cam vs. 290-300rwhp mach1 on the freeway? Your car must have had major mechanical problems!

 

My friends white mach here in College Station (exhaust and intake gears and axles) raced a pewter TA from a roll (40 mph) and he said he had the ta until he went into 4th by half a car (so basically dead even) and in 4th gear the TA pulled past him by half a car. The pewter TA is putting down 380 i believe. There are people on this forum that know him maybe they'll post up.

Eveyone knows that LS1's put down more hp at the wheels than they are rated from the factory, Ive yet 2 hear that from the ford camp. besides My boss has a 4cam cobra with quite a bit of mods,susp, and great tires, and I spank him, like not even close from a 20 punch, I pull his *** by like 6 cars by the time I shift outta 3rd. By the way, My Z28M6 only has a lid,k&n, free ram air mod,borla catback,160stat,fans runnin at 175, and welded subframes,Ive even played w/ S/C 04 cobras on the hi way and ws dead even in 4th.factory freak or not-before the cold t-stat and fans runnin cold, I dynoed 326hp in 100 degree heat at the north texas f-bd meet in the stockyard this summer.Hookers and orypipe go on at 10 this mornin, yeah!. Anybody like 2 go watch sprint cars, u can't beat 7-800 hp and 1200 pounds w/ no clutch to slip.

 

what year 4 cam cobra? Mach1's are much better running cars than the 99 and 01 cobras. The guy that kept up with the TA dyno'd like 280 or so stock and hasn't dyno'd it since his mods and he kept up. Those little fords are quick, i would love to have one!

easiest way to handle this is just go race one (directed to the original poster).

 

White WS-6 with black ZR-1's JEremy drove it home from HPP when you had the tranny put in it. We played on the trip down 121. I have exhaust these days but my 1/8 mile time is nowhere near yours. I only hit 8.0 this friday. She is a highway mover nwo though thats for sure. I miss the 4.10s
